Jovial Lodge was originally built in 1830 as a public house for the local Dutchman building the canals. BRJ Support Services then converted that was then a holiday home into a therapeutic residential rehabilitative service in 2019.
We are located in the village of Crich, home to the tramway museum and memorial stand.
The ground floor consists of a utility, large accessible kitchen, dining area for up to 12 diners , main TV lounge with seating, therapy lounge with TV, desktop computer & activity resources , bedroom 1 – single with accessible shower/toilet and private lounge. 1st landing consists of bedroom 2 – double with en-suite and bedroom 3 – single with en-suite. 2nd landing consists of bedroom 4 - double with en-suite, bedroom 5 - double with en-suite, bedroom 6 - double with en-suite and bedroom 7 - single with en-suite.
We have a visitor’s car park to the rear accessible via Jefferies lane. Our grounds consist of an upper level paved area with shelter and seating. The lower level has a paved area with a fire pit, seating and tables and a built in BBQ area.
